Oklahoma State’s top overall prospect is now off the board.
Durant (Okla.) Four-star, Rivals250 weakside defensive end Colton Yarbrough has announced his commitment to the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Yarbrough is the No. 112 prospect in the 2026 Rivals250 class and the highest-ranked prospect in the state of Oklahoma. He chose the Razorbacks over Oklahoma, Georgia, Colorado and LSU.
Abel spoke with his opponent to discuss his decision.
The longevity of the Fayetteville staff and the relationships built so far are the driving factors. He also believes he will develop in this position.
“They’ve been very consistent since I was in eighth grade. Coach (Dirk) Adams Develop defensive ends there and you’re going to see guys like Landon Jackson. This is also a beautiful campus.
The decision comes after Yarbrough took a quick visit to Arkansas a week ago, where he spent some time on campus. After that visit, he felt good about the decision.
“Honestly, to me, they’ve always been a top school, but I mean, they’ve never tried to pressure me to commit or do anything, and I respect that.”
Yarbrough is the fourth commit from Arkansas in the 2026 class and the second four-star of the bunch.
The addition also lifts the Razorbacks from 26th to 11th this season.
