Ian Poulter will play in LIV Golf’s Texas event this weekend, but now he has nothing to play with.
The 48-year-old flew from Heathrow Airport to Texas earlier this week without his clubs.
During the flight, the airline sent Poulter an email “to inform you that there are no carry-on bags for today” and told Poulter to contact them for delivery.

“FFS @british_airways so disappointing [sic]”, Poulter wrote via the Daily Mail on his Instagram Story. “I checked in 2 hours and 30 minutes before my flight. What could be the excuse. I received the email 3 hours after takeoff. If you don’t give me golf clubs, I won’t bother to fly. Unable to breathe fresh air.
“Talk about @british_airways. The golf bag is not overweight,” he said in another post. “I zoomed in on it, scanned it, and watched it slide down my belt. #pathetic.”
Poulter later added that Henrik Stenson’s clubs were also missing.
“When you [sic] Find mine. The only thing you do well is charge for flying,” Poulter wrote.
Fox News Digital has contacted British Airways for comment.
LIV will play at The Golf Club of Houston this weekend, followed by the U.S. Open at Pinehurst No. 2.
