Kanye West says he will countersue his former assistant after she filed court documents accusing him of sexual harassment and breach of contract.
in her lawsuitLauren Pisciotta claims the star sent her vulgar text messages and engaged in sex acts while on the phone with her.
West’s legal representatives now call the accusations “baseless” and accuse Pisciotta of “extortion and blackmail” after Pisciotta rejected her sexual advances.
“In response to these baseless accusations, Ye will be filing a lawsuit against Ms. Pisciotta,” they added, using the rapper’s current preferred name.
Pisciotta is believed to have worked for West between 2021 and 2022, initially working on his fashion line and later becoming his personal assistant, earning an annual salary of $1 million (£780,000).
She claimed that while she was working, the star bombarded her with explicit texts, some of which included pornographic videos.
Pisciotta also claimed he masturbated while talking to her on the phone and, on one occasion, masturbated in front of her after “trapping” her in a private room on his plane.
The former OnlyFans model said in the lawsuit that she was abruptly fired in 2022 and never received the promised severance package.
West’s lawyers disputed that claim, saying Pisciotta was fired “for being unqualified” and for “demanding unreasonable amounts of money”, including an annual salary of $4 million (£3.13 million).
They also accused Pisciotta of “lewd, deranged behavior” and claimed she had “consistently used sexual coercion” to solicit money and material items, including designer handbags and a Lamborghini car.
The statement further claimed that Pisciotta attempted to blackmail West for $60m (£47m) after he rejected her advances.
The BBC contacted Ms Pisciotta for comment but she did not immediately respond.
She posted a message to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, writing: “When you allow others the freedom to dislike you, judge you and disagree with you, your soul becomes aligned with freedom.”
