A pregnant woman and her husband were having a simple date night in the Streeterville neighborhood on Chicago’s North Side when they were attacked by a group of teenagers.
The woman, Nina, suffered a miscarriage after the attack and her husband was held down during the vicious attack by the group.
Nina told Fox 32 that the teens yelled, “We own this street! You can’t walk around,” and during the attack, the teens pepper-sprayed her, kicked her in the stomach, and Pull out a chunk of her hair.
Describing the attack, Nina said: “Everything happened behind us. First, someone approached him and hit him on the head, then another woman grabbed me by the hair and dragged me to the ground.
“I started screaming and she sprayed pepper spray in my face. Another person started stepping on me and my husband tried to save me but was stopped by more than a dozen people.
“We just want to go home and see our kids. Leave us alone. Why are you doing this to us?” she pleaded.

Nina said it wasn’t a robbery and the teens pepper-sprayed her and kicked her in the stomach. She was two weeks pregnant and said she found out she had lost her baby after the attack.
“We believe in faith, but that’s not the case. So, we don’t know why this happened,” Nina said.
Chicago police arrived on the scene and quickly captured a 14-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl. Both were charged with one misdemeanor count.
“They didn’t steal anything. They said, ‘We own this street. We own this street. You can’t walk around. I was wearing a nice dress and high heels. Like I was out on a date with my husband and they took my The clothes were dragging on the floor and they said, ‘We own this street. You can’t walk around in your little skirt.
