Four months ago, one Lego fan made about $500,000 when Lego released limited-edition sets. Now, LEGO will open orders for the second round of the BrickLink Designer Program on Thursday, June 6 at 8 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. ET, which will also feature five limited-edition sets. A fan’s dream come true.
They’re charming, quaint and look like wonderful play sets, and the fan designers will receive 5% from every sale! My attention was focused on the incredibly detailed Brick Cross train station… but my wife and I had already spent a lot of money on Paris Street last time, so I’d better not!
Ready for high-resolution images, prices and designer video interviews with each new suit? here you go:
I am here awe How many Lego hot dogs were used to make the railings of Ominous Island. Don’t want any pirates to fall into the booze! There is also a knob that opens the skull door.

One of my British colleagues said: “It’s so cute! It captures a lot of the right feeling for me, at least I pass through all the major stations in London regularly. I love it.”
I can’t look at this and not think about it back to the future part 3. I need to put the LEGO Cuusoo DeLorean on this railroad.
As I show you the early BrickLink sets in the video below, these came in special BrickLink boxes with no paper instructions, and LEGO’s own designers didn’t play a big role – but they were produced in LEGO factories, by LEGO shipments are made from official LEGO bricks, and LEGO employees select the five winners of each fan contest after fan voting closes.
Anyone can participate in the BrickLink Designer Program, unlike some previous LEGO challenges!
In contrast, LEGO Ideas Do The fan designs were sold in retail stores, paper instructions, etc., but LEGO’s designers chose far fewer sets – each of which went through a painstaking process to modify those sets for the masses. You can read my feature to learn how it works.
