The mission lasted less than an hour, providing American, Turkish and Italian passengers with a few minutes of weightlessness and the chance to witness the curve of the Earth.
Galaxy 07 marks the last commercial flight of Virgin Galactic’s (SPCE) current spaceplane VSS Unity, which the company expects to replace with its “Delta-class” spacecraft in 2026.
“Watching our groundbreaking spacecraft Unity return from space on its final commercial flight was an amazing and proud moment,” said CEO Michael Colglazier.
