Last week, after a false guilty verdict in New York City, Trump announced that he had raised a staggering $400 million.
This week, Trump raised another $12 million in just one night at a one-night event hosted by entrepreneur David Sacks in Silicon Valley.
The fact that people in blue Silicon Valley came out in support of Trump after the New York City verdict shows that the political narrative has shifted. Four years ago, no one could have imagined that Trump would have so much support in such a blue district.

David Sacks explained his support for Trump in a lengthy post on Twitter/X:
Why I support President Trump
As many media outlets have reported, tonight I will be hosting a fundraiser for President Donald J. Trump at my home in San Francisco.
Over the past few years, I have moderated events for presidential candidates Ron DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., as well as several congressional figures from both major parties. I gave to many but supported few.
But today I support our 45th President, Donald J. Trump, to become our 47th President. My rationale is based on four major issues that I believe are critical to American prosperity, security, and stability—issues on which the Biden administration has gone seriously off track and on which I believe President Trump can lead us back On track.
