Engel and Volks AtlantaThe luxury real estate brokerage announced Thursday that Christopher Burell has joined the company as its new chief growth officer.
Burell has 20 years of experience in metro Atlanta real estate. He previously served as an executive and broker at several leading companies in the region. Engel & Volkers said in announcing the hire that Burell “has earned a respected reputation as a leader in the real estate industry by combining his dynamic leadership style and executive coaching skills with a deep understanding of the real estate market.”
Burell will work closely with company founder and CEO Christa Huffstickler to oversee company management, team and brand building strategies, and agency development. The brokerage includes multiple teams covering Atlanta, its suburbs and other areas of North Georgia.

Burell is an active leader in the Atlanta real estate community and 2024 President-Elect Atlanta Association of REALTORS. He is the company’s national director Georgia Association of REALTORSwhere he is a director and a member of the Land Use Committee National Association of Realtors.

Last month, Engel & Volkers Atlanta announced the acquisition Every companya team of nine agents covering the metro area counties of Cobb, Cherokee, Dawson, Forsyth and North Fulton.
In February, the brokerage business expanded its scale through acquisitions Davis and Hoback Real Estateserving Atlanta and surrounding communities such as Smyrna, Marietta, Sandy Springs and Canton.
