A new CBS News/YouGov poll released Sunday found that 62% of Americans support a national plan to deport all millions of illegal immigrants under Joe Biden.
Earlier today, CBS pollster Anthony Salvanto revealed the news to Margaret Brennan on “Face the Nation” : 62% of Americans want all illegal immigrants rounded up and deported.
Anthony Salvanto: “We tested this in principle in a general way. Would you support a new administration plan to deport all people living in the United States illegally? This is favored by a majority. Six out of 10. It’s supported by Trump most vocally, but also from some Democrats.
The news shocked CBS’s far-left hosts.
Margaret Brennan: So, to explain a little bit, because 62% of Americans favor deporting all undocumented immigrants.
As a result, the Department of Homeland Security said President Biden deported or deported more people in the past year than in any year since 2010. would be illegal. In some ways, rounding up children doesn’t seem practical.
Then we learned that courts questioned whether local authorities had the ability to do so, while federal authorities did not have the resources. So what exactly are people supporting?

But those details are usually decided later by the Legislature and the courts. We even tested the idea: Should local law enforcement be involved? Many people do say yes. Again, the details, the specifics, you don’t draw conclusions from the totality of public opinion.
