In a sign of Trump’s continued decline, he held a press conference with Republican senators that lasted less than five minutes, during which he answered zero questions.

Trump said in part:
I just want to say that we are very united. We have good common sense, we have a lot of very smart people here, and a lot of people who love our country more than anything else. The only thing that might replace it is their family and, in some cases, maybe their faith. That’s fine, but they want this country to be great again and we’re going to make it great again. So I just want to thank the Republican Senate, and I also want to thank the House of Representatives where we met, the full House of Representatives Republicans today, and we had a great meeting with them as well.
In fact, there is a great deal of unity in very similar, disparate themes, but not that different. There is one thing in common, we want to make America great again, we want to make our country great again, we are a declining nation, a declining nation, we are a nation that is being abandoned by the world and we have a leader who is Stay around the world and we will turn the tide. We will turn things around quickly.
When presidential candidates have to hold events and declare party unity, it’s a safe bet that the party is definitely not united.
Trump, a convicted felon, pulled off the same scam he’s been using for nearly a decade, telling the media he was holding a press conference so the cameras would show up, then continuing his rant without answering any questions.
What Trump said in those four short minutes exposed a candidate who can barely communicate and is on the decline.
What message does Trump want to send? He has nothing to do but rant about how bad America is and how much better it would be if he were president again.
That’s it.
The political pundit class wanted to talk about Biden’s age, but a frail and exhausted Trump couldn’t last even five minutes at the event, where he refused to take questions.
