Before he became a movie star, Theo James aimed to be a rock star. But a “serious” incident made him realize he needed to take a different path.
On “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” James looked back on his days as an aspiring musician.
“I want to be a rock star,” Theo told the host.
“I’ve been to hundreds of gigs, in all kinds of different bands, and most of them were terrible. When I was playing in a band, someone threw a bottle of urine at me, which was fine. That’s when I Like, ‘Maybe I should try something else,'” he continued.

The White Lotus star said the incident likely happened due to fan impatience.

“It was a weird, sweaty, scary show,” James said. “I think the behavior before us was overdue, everyone was a little drunk and angry and someone thought the best way to handle the situation was to put urine in a bottle and throw it in someone’s face.”

The actor explained that being thrown a bottle of urine was just one of the unfortunate incidents he experienced early in his career.

“I had a lot of problems,” James said. “One time, my foot was crushed by moving equipment on the stage. I was looking in the wrong direction and this roller thing crushed my entire foot.”

James is known for appearing in nude scenes in film and television roles. While the actor was happy to bare skin, he told Entertainment Tonight in 2022 that one particular scene from The White Lotus was “too much” so they reshot it with a slightly “more subtle” one Version.
The actor plays Cameron Babcock, a wealthy businessman and a new character in the drama about luxury vacationers. Sicily hotels. Babcock took off his clothes and put on a bathing suit in one scene in the premiere. This photo reveals everything from his back as well as a partial view of his front.

James joked that it was in his contract that “I can’t do anything without being completely naked.” He famously had nude scenes in “The Time Traveler’s Wife” and “Sanditon.”

James explained that many actors have done nude scenes on the HBO show.
“It’s fun because we’re all naked. It’s really a holiday show,” he said.

He added that nudity in the show is always “very specific” and helps drive the plot forward.
