A wildfire that broke out early Sunday along Interstate 5 near Grapevine has grown to more than 11,000 acres and spread south to the town of Castaic, prompting the evacuation of hundreds of people, officials said. The Post Fire, which originated in Gorman in northwest Los Angeles County on Saturday, was 0% contained as of early Sunday as high winds, low humidity and steep terrain hampered firefighting efforts.
Meanwhile, firefighters are battling another brush fire in the San Bernardino County community of Hesperia, which broke out in the 18000 block of Highway 173 North on Saturday just after 6 p.m.
