Covenant school shooter Audrey Elizabeth Hale’s chilling manifesto was leaked again on Friday. She identified as a transgender man at the time of the horrific attack on March 27.
Star News Digital Media, Inc., which owns and operates The Star, and the publication’s editor-in-chief, Michael Patrick Leahy, are currently plaintiffs in the lawsuits. reports that forced the Nashville Metropolitan Police Department (MNPD) and the FBI to release Hale.
The Tennessee Star confirmed Wednesday that it had obtained nearly four dozen of Hale’s books from sources familiar with the investigation. The March 11, 2023 entry reveals her intense desire to have a “penis.”
Hale’s diary is titled “My Imaginary Penis” and includes a crude drawing. “My penis exists in my mind. I swear to God I am male,” Hale wrote in his diary. She then expressed her desire to have a penis for heterosexual intercourse, The Tennessee Star reported.
In the document, Hale detailed the challenges faced when using the name Aiden on job applications, which resulted in complications during the background check process. The writings also reveal the painful experience of growing up as a girl, describing it as “torture”.
“I hated my parents’ perspective; how my mother viewed me as a daughter — she couldn’t bear to lose that daughter because a son would mean Audrey’s death.

Michael Patrick Leahy was ordered to appear before the judge in the Nashville Covenant School mass shooting trial on Monday.
Tennessee Chancery Court Judge l’Ashea Myles ordered Michael Patrick Leahy, who is also CEO of Star News Digital Media, to appear in court to determine whether Leahy and the Star whether the newspaper violated any court orders related to publishing news stories in the shooter’s writings.
Government officials went to great lengths to prevent the murderer’s writings from ever being made public.
Leahy confirmed he will appear in court on Monday. He reportedly faces contempt of court charges and possibly jail time for his wild comments about the Covenant shooter.
Leahy also vowed not to reveal his sources to the court.
