“Same experience with VIN 9xxx, mine doesn’t work at all,” another user wrote. “We’ve been going back and forth with Tesla for weeks waiting for them to get parts and now have an appointment for 24th day service. . They never said specifically but assuming they were replacing the motor I just told them it didn’t work and they seemed to know what they needed to do so a recall or a broader service issue was not surprising.
Others said they ordered a Cybertruck but received notification that delivery was delayed by about a week, without specifying why.
“I was supposed to pick it up on Sunday, but now I’m told it’s late next week,” one user wrote.
“My order was scheduled to ship tomorrow, but I got a message in the app and it was postponed until next week. No reason given,” another user wrote.
Of course, it should be noted that some Cybertruck owners do seem to Like wipers. Again, Tesla hasn’t confirmed this yet. But given the company’s hostile attitude toward the media, it seems unlikely we’ll receive a response. Musk, for his part, made vague promises about big upcoming announcements at the X.
