Wisconsin Republican Rep. Bryan Steil tried to lash out at Biden but accidentally took a shot at Trump while speaking at a rally for the former president in Wisconsin.
“It’s hard to believe,” Steyer said. “When I was eight years old, Donald Trump was first elected to the United States Senate. It’s true.
The crowd greeted Styles with confused silence.
He corrected himself, “President Biden was elected to the Senate when I was eight years old.”
The crowd was quieter because the moment had long since passed.

Trump’s inability to speak at these rallies is not just due to severe memory impairment.
His own supporters can’t even bring Biden and Trump into line.
There was an air of unsettling awkwardness at Trump’s rallies that didn’t exist in 2016. Everything has become tired and stale, and when they try to freshen it up, things either derail or get weird very quickly.
Trump never entered the U.S. Senate, but Rep. Steyer was four years old when Donald Trump was indicted by the Justice Department for racial discrimination.
Steyer’s gaffe is a reminder that no matter how hard Republicans try to understand Biden’s age, they can’t hide the fact that Donald Trump is indeed old.
