Apple’s first retail store in Malaysia will offer a full range of products and services, unparalleled support from more than 160 team members and sessions with local creatives
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Apple ® today previewed Malaysia’s first Apple Store ® Apple The Exchange TRX. Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s TRX Central Business District, the new store will showcase the magic of Apple to Malaysia like never before. Customers can discover and shop Apple’s line of innovative products and services, receive exceptional service from knowledgeable team members and learn how to get the most out of their devices through free Today at Apple ® classes.

At Apple The Exchange TRX, over 160 team members are ready to assist customers with purchasing their favorite Apple products, from the iPhone® 15 series to MacBook Air® with M3 and the latest iPad® models, including the redesigned iPad Air® and ultra-thin iPad Pro ® with M4.
Apple The Exchange TRX will serve as an inspirational education center, offering free in-store classes to customers through Today at Apple. Led by Apple Creatives, these events will allow attendees to get creative and learn how to get the most out of their devices, with topics ranging from basics and how-to sessions to journeys to harness beautiful iPhone photos and videos.
To celebrate the opening, a special Today at Apple series Jom Discover will be held from Saturday, June 22 to Saturday, July 6. Apple’s full range of products and services.

Apple The Exchange TRX connects the mall’s atrium to a lush rooftop park surrounding the store’s upper levels. The three-dimensional layered roof consists of horizontal glass panels and sunshade blades that reduce the sun’s rays and emit a warm glow at night. The central glass window brings daylight into the interior and has a dynamic artificial lighting function.
Inside, a sculptural quartz and glass staircase connects three floors, where customers can explore, learn and shop. The Forum, home to the Today at Apple program, is located on a floating deck connected to the mall, while the upper levels are directly connected to the edge of the park, bringing daylight and greenery into the store through a continuous glass facade.
Like all Apple facilities, Apple The Exchange TRX uses 100% renewable energy and is carbon neutral. The store is designed with sophisticated, high-quality materials including natural stone walls, polished stainless steel columns, light terrazzo floors and wooden ceilings.
Visitors are invited to explore the surrounding display stands and avenues and purchase the new iPad Air with M2, the iPhone 15 series, and the latest Apple Watch range, Apple’s first carbon-neutral product. Apple experts are excited to connect with local communities through personalization and support, switching to iOS and Apple Trade In, where customers can trade in and earn points toward a new device.
Just in time for back-to-school, students and families can save on their Mac or iPad with Apple Education Pricing, available exclusively at Apple Retail. In-store or online, eligible customers can also take advantage of the College Student Offer through September 30 and get AirPods ® with the purchase of a qualifying Mac or an Apple Pencil ® with the purchase of a qualifying iPad.
Apple The Exchange TRX also offers dedicated Apple pickup counters, making it easier for customers to place orders online and pick up their items at their most convenient time. For hands-on technical and hardware support, customers can book at the Genius Bar ® and receive expert assistance.
Apple The Exchange TRX will open on Saturday, June 22 at 10am Malaysia time. Customers are invited to view curated content celebrating the essence of Malaysian creativity across Apple TV+®, Apple Music® and the App Store®, and sign up for upcoming Today at Apple sessions.
