The latest Monmouth poll shows that a vast majority of Americans think Joe Biden’s policies are hurting or having no impact in the fight against inflation.
In addition to the border and illegal immigration, inflation and the economy are also top concerns for American voters, so this poll is a heavy blow to the Biden campaign.
Trump is also more trusted on these issues.

Monmouth poll: 87% say Biden policies are harmful, have no impact on rising costs
A Monmouth University poll this week found that 87 percent of Americans believe President Joe Biden’s policies have hurt or had no impact on inflation, the top concern among respondents.
Under Biden, costs have soared about 20% across the board. Increased costs of goods appear to be the No. 1 reason Biden is losing support among people who typically vote Democratic.
The pollster asked respondents: “Given this all-important issue, have the federal government’s actions in the past six months helped, hurt, or had no real impact?”

Polls also show that more and more people are struggling to maintain their current financial situation:
Currently, 46% of Americans say they are struggling to maintain their current financial situation. In polls conducted between 2022 and 2023, this figure ranged from 37% to 44%. In previous polls from 2017 to 2021, this sentiment was much lower, at 20% to 29%. Those more likely to feel they are struggling include Republicans (54%) and independents (49%), those making less than $50,000 a year (56%) and those making between $50,000 and $100,000 a year. people (47%), and black, Hispanic, Asian or other races (53%). Among non-Hispanic whites, those without a college degree (48%) are more likely than college graduates (29%) to say they are struggling. Other groups less likely to say they are struggling include Democrats (30%) and people making more than $100,000 a year (33%).
Biden’s policies don’t help average Americans because they were not designed to do so. Biden is focused on “transforming” America into something that most Americans don’t want.
