Former President Trump told reporters on Saturday that he has decided who will be his running mate in November, but he hasn’t told anyone yet.
Trump told NBC News before a rally in Philadelphia that he has chosen his vice president.
“In my opinion, yes,” Trump said when asked if he had decided.
Asked if his picks knew it was them, Trump responded: “No, no one knows.”
The selection process for Trump’s running mate has accelerated in recent weeks as several candidates have received vetting materials from their campaigns. Trump said he may announce his choice at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee next month.
Sources familiar with the process told The Hill that the front-runners for the position are North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum (Republican), Senator J.D. Vance (Ohio) and Senator Marco ยท Rubio (Florida).

Senior advisers and even family members are increasingly concerned that New York Judge Juan Merchan will send Trump to prison, possibly to the notorious Rikers Island prison, on 34 felony convictions.
The move, which comes just days before the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, will deny the Republican nominee the opportunity to personally defend a second term in the White House. If he were sentenced to prison, the position would go to Trump as the No. 2 (if he had one at the time).
If this judge sentences Trump to prison, it will only prove Trump’s point that the system is rigged against him.
