A 25-year-old man was reportedly stabbed in the shoulder after being attacked at New York City’s Randall’s Island immigration shelter.
The New York City Police Department (NYPD) confirmed to Fox News Digital that the man was stabbed by two shelter residents at the immigration shelter at 8pm on Friday.
Police said law enforcement arrested two suspects, brothers Josue Deleon, 19, and Moises Deleon, 27, confirmed they were both charged with assault.

new york post The report quoted sources as saying that earlier in the day, a separate stabbing occurred inside the shelter and an altercation broke out between two groups.
The relationship between the victim and suspect is unclear at this time.
The latest incident follows a series of attacks on immigrant shelters in New York City.
In April, five men were arrested by the New York Police Department after they allegedly attacked another man on his bed and injured a security guard during a fight.

The five men, aged between 20 and 33, are accused of beating another man while he was eating in bed at the shelter on East 125th Street around 2 a.m.

In February, police arrested two other immigrants at the same facility after they allegedly assaulted another security guard during two separate altercations on the same night.

In that incident, police who responded to a 911 call about the first attack witnessed a second attack in which an immigrant began attacking the officer as he tried to talk to the security guard. “New York Post” reports.
