Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) is asking President Biden to take a drug test before and after the debate to check for enhancement drugs.
Jackson said on Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures show:
I don’t have to tell you, your viewers, or anyone else in this country that we have a serious problem here. Everyone knows. You don’t have to be a doctor, and you certainly don’t have to be the president’s doctor, to understand what’s going on. I have previously sent out five letters asking President Biden to take a cognitive test very similar to the one President Trump took while he was president, and all five letters have been completely ignored.
So tomorrow I’m writing a letter to President Biden and his physician, Dr. O’Connor, and copying his entire cabinet. It’s really embarrassing that I have to do this, it’s really embarrassing as a former White House physician to have to do something like this, but we have no choice. On behalf of the millions of concerned Americans, I will now demand that he undergo a drug test before and after this debate, specifically looking for performance-enhancing drugs.
Because we saw, and we saw recently in his State of the Union address, Joe Biden’s performance was completely different than what we’ve seen on a daily basis over the last three and a half years. There’s certainly no way to explain this other than he’s doing something. They gave him medicine. I feel like this is what’s happening at Camp David. He’ll be there for a full week before the debate, much of which will be about making sure the dosage is just right. They had to treat his cognition, give him something to help him think more clearly, awaken his alertness, and then, you know, he gets restless. We see this all the time.
This is a common symptom or sign of this cognitive disorder that he seems to have. So they might also give him something to take away from his strengths. Hay didn’t make it clear in his State of the Union address. He comes out and he’s alert, but he’s a yelling, angry old man and I think they have an uphill battle here. I think they have to do something to wake him up and perform a little better in the debates, and I don’t think that’s what the American people want from their president.

If this all seems like an excuse for the Trump camp to be crazy, that’s because it is. Rep. Ronny Jackson was drunk and abusing Ambien while serving as White House physician, IG reports. It’s reasonable to ask whether Jackson could pass the same drug test he asked President Biden to take.
Trump circles are concerned about the debate, hoping to be able to claim that if Biden circles around a Trump who reportedly has a memory impairment, it’s because the sitting president is on drugs. Joe Biden, 81, is not on drugs, and if he does well in the debates, it will be because he is a good candidate and president.
