Doug Ducey backs RINO Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer was nearly booed when asked at a recent forum if he thought the 2020 election was stolen Step down.
It’s not the first awkward moment for Stephen Richer this cycle, further demonstrating his unpopularity among the state’s Republican voters. It seems the only way he can win the primary is through Nikki Haley’s strategy of having his Democratic supporters (and there are many) register as Republicans to elect him.
As the Gateway Pundit recently reported, Maricopa County Recorder candidate Justin Heap asked a question from the audience at another town hall, joining the two candidates defeating incumbent Rino Stephens · RINO Stephen Richer.
Shipp asked the crowd to “please raise your hand if you personally or someone you know received an extra ballot at your home during the last election cycle,” and nearly half of the attendees raised their hands!

This time, Richer told the crowd, “I don’t believe the 2020 election was stolen,” to loud boos.

However, even though Heap is Maricopa County Recorder and Only other Republicans can win the electionhe also refused to say that the 2020 election was stolen, worried that he would be attacked by the media, and claimed that this was “not a winning strategy.”
Speaking to legislative district Republicans in Maricopa County recently, Shipp acknowledged serious problems, including violations of election laws, false mail-in ballots, “unmonitored ballot drop boxes that provide all possibilities for fraud” and judicial The system is rigged.
At least he was aware of the problems, which Richer claimed didn’t exist. Let’s just hope he’s not another Stephen Richer, who we know ran for office in 2020 with the exact same views. He often told voters during campaign events and speaking tours that former Maricopa County Recorder Adrian Fontes was a “criminal” and that election laws were not followed.
In completing Ballotopedia’s 2020 Candidate Relations Survey, Richer wrote,
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I am committed to running elections that all Arizonans — Republican, Democrat, Independent or otherwise — can trust. I am running because the current Recorder has lost the trust of voters due to incompetence, incivility, bias, illegality, and lack of transparency. My wife and I live in Phoenix. We are both lawyers and met at the University of Chicago Law School. My background is in business management and public policy.
Please list 3 key pieces of information about your event below. What key points do you want voters to remember about your goals during your term in office?
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Ensure all Arizonans have a positive voting experience. Eliminate the nonsense and drama from the voting process. Manage a government office and focus on customer service.
What qualities does this office have that make it a unique and important part of the state’s government and legal system?
Competence and integrity.
Today, Richer considers those who lack confidence in the election to be “conspiracy theorists,” It is now claimed that the “incompetence, incivility, bias, illegality and lack of transparency” displayed by Adrian Fontes resulted in a fair 2020 election that was the most secure in history.
Gateway Pundit also reports that Stephen Richer was outed by his former colleague Steve Chucri as not trusting Dominion enough to run in another election.
Richer later saw early voting in Maricopa County during the 2022 election, the election being stolen from Lake Cary due to malfunctioning vote counting machines that resulted in Republicans being disenfranchised on Election Day, and fake mail-in ballots without real signature verification . He even went so far in defending a fraudulent election that he sued Kari Lake for defamation after she spoke out against him and the election!
To his credit, Shipp serves on the House Elections Committee and is tied for first on the Arizona Free Enterprise Club’s legislative scorecard. Voted with the conservative agenda 100% of the time and sponsored or co-sponsored more than 30 election integrity bills.
Hopefully he stays strong on election integrity and really cleans out the recorder’s office if elected.
