CNN’s Kasie Hunt tries to get Trump campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt to stop attacking debate moderators, but she won’t, so Hunt cuts off interviewed and dumped her.
Levitt has a clear mission to use interviews to discredit CNN debate moderators. Hunter told her that debate experts believe candidates lose when they start attacking moderators, but Trump’s surrogates continue.
Hunter noted that Republicans have shifted from calling President Biden senile to trying to lower debate expectations for Trump.
Levitt responded: “Well, first of all, someone would have to spend five minutes Googling Jake Tapper (Donald Trump) to see that Jake Tapper is consistent.
Hunter interjected: “Ma’am, if you continue to attack my colleagues, we will stop this interview. Madam, if you continue to attack my colleagues, I will stop this interview. Donald Trump, who do you work for?” .If you speak for him here, I’d be willing to have this conversation.
“I’m stating facts that your colleagues have stated in the past,” Levitt continued.
Hunter ended the interview, “Now, I’m sorry, guys, we’re going to get back to the panel. Carolyn, thank you so much for your time. You’re welcome back anytime. She’s welcome back to talk about Donald Trump, when Donald ·They will have equal time with Joe Biden when Trump joins us for this debate in Atlanta later this week.
