“[In the] The Sopranos…even though we were critically acclaimed, we were the outcasts. I am still an outcast. Here I am and they’re going to take me to the woods and shoot me because I don’t support Biden,” she said, referring to the death of her character Adriana La Selva on the gangster show.
Asked if she thought there were “quiet” Trump voters in Hollywood, DeMatteo said, “I think there are a lot of them.”
“There are a lot of Trump supporters, there are a lot of [Robert F.] Kennedy supporters…” she added.

“This is Italian, man. We’re talking [Dr. Anthony] Fauci, we’re talking about De Niro. I am ashamed of my people now. I don’t understand what we’re doing here,” she told Waters.
She also questioned whether De Niro and others were paid to support President Biden after Waters played a video of a star-studded Los Angeles fundraiser that raised $30 million.
“I wonder how much money these actors are getting for endorsing Biden at this point. I’m curious. I want to know if De Niro is getting paid on location for going to court to do that,” she said.
DeMatteo has been an outspoken critic of cancel culture, recently saying on Donald Trump Jr.’s podcast that while she previously voted for Biden in 2020 out of sympathy for illegal immigrants, issues such as chaos at the border Already making her vote for Biden in 2020.
