Almost everyone in the media was shocked by Biden’s reaction during the CNN presidential debate, and Megyn Kelly was no exception.
Mekin described watching the event in horror with family and friends and said Biden is now over, whether he realizes it or not, his campaign is over.
She might have a point.

I want to talk to you directly about what we just saw on stage in Atlanta. In my opinion, Joe Biden’s era is over. Whether he knows it or not, his presidential campaign ends tonight.
Tonight, first thing tomorrow, and for the foreseeable future, Democratic leaders will be meeting to discuss how to get him out of the race. We’ve seen some reactions from top Democrats, who rarely criticize the president, suggesting he needs to take a hard look at his performance tonight and personally evaluate whether he can move forward. This number will only increase. There will be more and more.
It was a complete disaster. It looked very uncomfortable. I sat with my family and friends, and we held each other’s arms for the first 25 minutes of the debate. Too harsh. He is so distant, so fragile, so incomprehensible, so unstable. I honestly don’t know if he’ll be able to complete the answer, let alone get through a debate or get re-elected.
The contrast between Joe Biden and Donald Trump has never been starker. Trump appeared calm, cool and collected. He looks very comfortable. Donald Trump Jr. tweeted that he thought the format actually helped his father stay calm and remain president.

One might hazard the assumption that Biden didn’t know this ended his campaign. Joe always seemed to think he was doing a good job.
