Thursday’s presidential debate was a disaster for Joe Biden, and a debate focus group led by pollster Frank Luntz agreed.
Biden stuttered, mumbled, spoke weakly and shook hands throughout the evening.
Lentz held live focus groups during the debate with undecided voters.
After the debate, Luntz wrote: “Twelve out of 14 people said they were leaning toward Trump now. One chose Biden and one didn’t move. This is a complete disaster for the Democratic Party.
Luntz joined CNBC’s Squawk Box and shared, “I’ve been to 32 debates in my entire career and I’ve never had anyone perform…and I’m so frustrated with Donald Trump in 2020; I’m Never seen a show like last night.
“My focus groups were all from swing states that were undecided. Twelve of fourteen turned to Donald Trump. Only one went to Joe Biden.
“We have never experienced anything like this before. We are truly in uncharted territory.
“What shocks me most is that 2020 Joe Biden voters don’t want him to be the candidate in 2024.”

Luntz shared several live clips from the focus group on X.
My focus group is made up of undecided voters who want Joe Biden out of office.
They like him and respect him — and most voted for him in 2020.

“After the first ad break, I asked my focus group of undecided voters how many of them felt more confident about voting for Joe Biden,” Lentz shared.
“Zero raised his hand.”
“Half of them said they voted for Biden in 2020.”

“Some people said: ‘I don’t even know if Biden can make it to November!'”

For months, Luntz has warned that Democrats could face electoral disaster.
In May, Luntz told CNN that as many as one-third of black male voters could choose Trump in the fall.
“But specifically, for black voters, it’s not all black voters. It’s young black voters, especially young black men. I found this out when I got off the plane at JKF and there were two luggage The porter came up to me and told me I didn’t understand.
