The Biden campaign sent a lengthy email to supporters Saturday night, urging them to “keep the faith” while trying to cheer up the “bedwetting brigade” who are still reeling from Joe Biden’s Thursday confrontation with Trump. Biden was shocked by President Trump’s disastrous debate performance, in which Biden appeared dazed and confused.
To show that abandoning Biden would be a mistake, the Biden campaign bizarrely included the results of a Democratic poll showing President Trump beating Biden and every other Democrat. The argument made by the campaign is that Trump beat Biden by just three points, while everyone else, like Biden, lost to Trump…by two or three points.
ABC News reporter Will Steakin posted a synopsis of the email sent by deputy campaign manager Rob Flaherty:

An excerpt from the email posted by Yashar Ali of the Huffington Post:
“The bedwetting brigade is calling on Joe Biden to “quit.” This is the best way for Donald Trump to win and us to lose.
First up: Joe Biden will be the Democratic nominee. The end of the story. Voters voted. He won by a landslide. If he withdraws, it would lead to weeks of chaos, internal food fights and a group of candidates locked in brutal floor fights at the convention, leaving Donald Trump with time to address the American electorate without controversy.
All of this will serve a nominee who will enter the election in the most vulnerable position possible, with zero dollars in his bank account. Do you want to lose the highway? That’s the one.

Trump President Bill Kristol Never Observed, “Panic at Biden HQ? They included a chart in their fundraising email purporting to show Biden is the strongest against Trump candidate. It shows that there is no such thing as all the possible Democratic candidates – albeit obviously less well-known than Biden – are already as good as Biden.
Panic at Biden headquarters?
They included a chart in their fundraising emails designed to show Biden as the strongest candidate against Trump. It shows that there is no such thing. All possible Democratic candidates—although clearly less well-known than Biden—are already as good as Biden. https://t.co/h10v4BCTgw
