Dr. Disrespect, a popular streamer whose real name is Guy Beahm, may have to return to his doctor’s office as his YouTube channel has reportedly been demonetized after confirming: He sent inappropriate messages to minors.
YouTube tells edge On Friday, Beahm’s channel was demonetized and he is no longer part of the YouTube Partner Program due to “serious allegations against the creator.”
“We have suspended monetization for the DrDisrespect channel because the channel violated our Creator Responsibility policy,” YouTube spokesperson Nicole Bell told The Verge.
Beam did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The latest bad news for doctors comes a week after a doctor first made accusations. Former Twitch employee on X. “He was banned after being caught sexting a minor on the then-existing Twitch Whispers product,” the tweet read, although the post did not mention Beam. Some do believe it was him, as his sudden ban from Twitch in 2020 was shocking considering his popularity, and no details were provided about his expulsion from the streaming platform. Beem defends himself On Tuesday, he confirmed that he had indeed spoken to a minor, but said there was no real intention behind the message and that the conversation tended to be “inappropriate.”
