Hunter Biden is reportedly one of the loudest voices trying to convince his father, President Joe Biden, not to abandon his campaign despite his poor performance in the first presidential debate.
The New York Times pointed out that although many people regard this meeting as an opportunity to re-evaluate his ability to continue running, Biden’s family is still urging him to continue fighting.
“One of the strongest voices imploring Mr. Biden to resist pressure to withdraw has been his son, Hunter Biden, whom the president has long turned to for advice,” The Times wrote.
Yes, the president turned to Hunter Biden for advice.
They added, “Hunter Biden wants Americans to see the version of his father he knows — scrappy, in control of the facts — rather than the stumbling, aging president Americans saw Thursday night.”
After the debate, the Biden family faced increasing criticism, with the president often appearing confused, equivocating, distorting facts and “opening his mouth” to lose his train of thought.

Why did Hunter insist on staying in the game?
It’s safe to say that with Hunter Biden facing a lot of legal troubles, the president has a vested interest in staying in power. Hunter was recently convicted of three felony firearms charges and faces a criminal trial on another tax charge.
His father publicly insisted he would not pardon his son. But that could change as he enters his final days in office. But imagine that. Hunter Biden is currently a senior adviser to the president.
The Times said insiders denied any speculation that Biden would withdraw from the race anyway.
The internal dialogue, they wrote, involves “an ongoing debate about how the president moves forward — not about exit, but about how best to make the case that he should not exit.”
The newspaper described him as “energetic, determined and willing to keep fighting until November” by his aides.
The debate showed he doesn’t have the energy to fight for 90 minutes, let alone until November and for the next four years.

Aides upset that Biden was being scripted to ‘look pale’ at debate
The White House went to great lengths to provide excuses for why Biden appeared so weak during the debate. About 45 minutes into the game with Trump, reports emerged that the president had a cold.
The age-old and reliable story of a president stuttering has been picked up by some media outlets.
In the latest Times op-ed, aides complained about the makeup Biden used to prepare for the debate. True.
“They were angry at Mr. Biden, who arrived in Atlanta for debates over the summer with a tanned skin and makeup that made him look pale,” the newspaper wrote.
No amount of makeup can make Biden look presidential, let alone competent.
