President Trump’s lawyers this week accused Jack Smith of withholding FBI emails related to the August 2022 Mar-a-Lago raid.
Biden’s FBI raided Mar-a-Lago in August 2022 and seized several boxes of records from Trump’s Florida estate.
In August 2022, agents armed with machine guns raided Mar-a-Lago, and by November, Biden’s Justice Department appointed a special prosecutor to investigate documents stored at the Florida residence.
Jack Smith’s office produced only a handful of FBI emails from August 2022 related to the Mar-a-Lago raid. Trump’s lawyers believe the Justice Department and FBI are concealing communications.
In a motion filed on Monday, Trump’s lawyers said the special counsel’s office “only recently produced a small number of August 2022 FBI emails that do not appear to be included in the FBI’s case file.” There is evidence that Agents sent substantive information about the investigation, but they failed to upload it to the case file, thus requiring an escrow-level review of all their electronic communications, including on personal devices,” Trump’s attorneys wrote.
There were no bombshells from the Supreme Court this morning, but Trump filed a new document in a case related to documents related to FBI raids and malfeasance in investigations.

Additionally, special prosecutor Jack Smith appears to be conducting an internal investigation into the mishandling of Mar-a-Lago documents.
Additionally, Jack Smith appears to be conducting an internal investigation into the mishandling of evidence seized during the MAL raid. This is the core of Trump’s motion to dismiss based on “destruction” of evidence.

Jack Smith’s confidential documents case is currently on hold while Judge Erin Cannon holds an evidentiary hearing.
Last week, Judge Erin Cannon granted Trump’s request for a hearing on whether prosecutor Jack Smith improperly violated Trump’s attorney-client privilege.
Jack Smith uses a D.C. grand jury and a radical Marxist Obama-appointed D.C. judge (Beryl Howell) in the classified documents case, then quietly travels to Florida to press charges.
Judge Howell turned Trump’s own attorney, Eric Corcoran, into a witness after revoking Trump’s attorney-client privilege in his ruling.
