British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will resign as leader of the Conservative Party on Friday morning after losing a landslide election to the left-wing Labor Party.
While Sunak won the seats of Richmond and Northallerton and will return as an MP, he will tender his resignation after a humiliating defeat that saw the party lose more than 200 seats.
“Labour has won this election and I have called Keir Starmer to congratulate him,” he said in his concession speech. “The British people have delivered a sobering verdict tonight and there is much to learn… I take responsibility for the damage.

Labor won a majority of about 150 seats, led by Keir Starmer, a former Trotsite with close links to communism.
Yet they barely managed to increase their vote share and win elections as the vote collapsed after 14 years of Conservative rule, mass immigration surged, woke ideology flourished and taxation reached record levels.
