An ABC News panel had some critical words to say about President Biden following a prime-time interview with anchor George Stephanopoulos on Friday.
“Look, Biden looks better and certainly more coherent than he did during the debate, but there’s nothing in this interview to calm the nerves of jittery Democrats who fear Joe Biden might lose this race, Lost to Donald Trump,” ABC News chief Washington correspondent Jonathan Carr told Stephanopoulos after the interview.
“Indeed, for some of them, this interview raised new concerns, particularly his unwillingness or failure to realize that he was in a dire position in terms of his campaign and that he was losing because he believed that many Democrats, frankly Say, in the polls you cited, he’s losing to Donald Trump,” he said.

“Another Democrat told me, ‘Better, but not sure it’s enough,'” Scott said, adding that they would need more than one interview, more than 22 minutes, to prove the president has the stamina to stay in this race and defeat Donald Trump.

When asked about his age, Raddatz noted in his panel summary that Biden’s default response was “look at me,” emphasizing that aging “is not like a broken bone. It doesn’t get better.”
“Everyone is paying attention, and believe me, they will be watching even more closely as we move forward, George,” Raddatz told the anchor.
Biden sat down with Stephanopoulos for the first time since last month’s presidential debate, and the most high-profile moments were his uncertainty about whether he had seen through his disastrous debate performance and his refusal to take a cognitive test.
