Former Obama adviser David Axelrod appeared on CNN this weekend and had a pretty brutal assessment of Biden during his CNN interview.
He called the interview “sad” and suggested Biden was dangerously out of touch with reality. He also agreed with many others who said the interview did little to calm nervous Democratic voters.
This is sure to sting the Biden White House, as David Axelrod worked closely with Biden in the Obama administration.

Axelrod post-interview: Biden ‘dangerously out of touch’ with voters’ concerns
Democratic strategist David Axelrod warned that President Joe Biden is “dangerously out of touch” with voters on age and health issues following his highly anticipated sit-down interview with ABC News.
“The president is justifiably proud of his record. But he is dangerously out of touch with concerns about his ability to move forward and his place in the game,” Axelrod wrote on the social platform X the post read. “A few years ago at this time, he was 10 points ahead of Trump. Today, he’s six points behind.
Axelrod’s comments came shortly after Biden’s full interview with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos on Friday night. It was Biden’s first interview since his performance in last week’s debate with former President Trump was widely criticized.
Throughout the interview, Biden described his performance at that debate as “a bad night.”

The writing is on the wall.
You know the campaign is over when bigot Dem Axelrod starts trash talking Biden.

The Ax is excellent at this.
Rather than targeting Biden, he turned his attention to faceless advisers who were apparently shielding Biden from reality.
He made it clear that Jill Biden and Biden’s inner circle would become persona non grata if they allowed this to continue.

Will Obama be the next to say something like this?
