Let me ask you something that caught our attention. This is a piece you wrote in a 2017 New York Times column about former President Barack Obama. You criticized his policies, but you also quoted, “The Republican Party’s frequent inability to separate legitimate political disagreements from the fact that the president himself is an admirable man is one of the great failures in recent political history. Because “At a critical moment in my life, Barack Obama gave me hope that boys growing up like me could still achieve my most important dreams,” you wrote, “and I will miss him and the legacy he set.” role model. You wrote this just days before Donald Trump took office. Do you still think of Barack Obama as an admirable person that you miss?

Well, Kristen, you know I grew up in a broken home and all I wanted to do was be a good husband and a good dad. Of course, Barack Obama, despite my many political differences with him, is clearly a good husband and a good father. By the way, I would say the same thing about Donald Trump, his kids love him. I think one of the things that the media often overlooks about Trump is how truly devoted he is to his family, his grandchildren, and part of his pro-life message, his basic pro-life view is that we should have more of American families are more likely to have thriving children and thriving families. So, I certainly think we’re lucky to have a lot of great examples across the country. Yes, absolutely. Is Barack Obama a good president? No. Is he a good husband and father? Yes.
J.D. Vance can’t get his brain to believe that Trump is a good husband.
Trump is a good husband and his wife refuses to appear in public with him. Trump was a good husband who was ultimately convicted of 34 felonies for trying to conceal sexual activity with another woman from voters while he was married to his current wife.
Senator Vance really wants to be Trump’s running mate, but after he claims Trump is a good husband, he immediately has to talk about Trump’s kids because no one in their right mind believes Donald Trump is good Husband, even JD Vance couldn’t help but sell this idea to himself.
