With four more House Democrats saying Biden should step down, some House Democrats have accelerated their pathological mission to cost their party any chance of a House majority.
Politico reports on the call from House Democratic leadership:
During the nearly two-hour call, those who strongly called for Biden to step down included Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.), Rep. Adam Smith (D-Wash.), Rep. Mark Takano (D-Calif.) ) and Joe Morelle.
It doesn’t matter to these Democrats that Democratic voters appear to be lining up with Biden, or that the president’s standing in the polls is collapsing as the pundit class predicted. House Democrats are worried they won’t be able to win a majority, so they’re trying to dump President Biden.

It’s important to remember that Democrats are not mounting a massive campaign to demand Biden’s ouster. Anxiety is centered on the House of Representatives. Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., is trying to assemble a group of senators to urge Biden to withdraw, but so far there’s no word on how successful he’s been.
Divided parties cannot win, and House Democrats are dividing their party.
Helping Biden’s campaign will only help Trump, as some House Democrats work to steal defeat from the jaws of victory in an ultimate act of political self-sabotage.
