Longstanding concerns about President Joe Biden’s age and his suitability for re-election erupted on June 27 after a disastrous debate performance.
Since then, Biden has been trying to pick up the pieces. First at a fiery rally in North Carolina. About ten days after the debate, ABC’s George Stephanopoulos did a one-on-one interview.
Neither campaign achieved its goal of solidifying Biden’s support, and now members of Congress are questioning whether the 46th president should remain the Democratic nominee.
