Headquartered in Massachusetts Lamacchia Real Estate Expansion is continuing. The brokerage announced Tuesday that it has acquired the Dalton, Mass.-based firm Berkshire Dream Home The amount was undisclosed.
Berkshire Dream Homes was founded in 2014 by Andy and Sarah Perenick. According to the release, In is the No. 1 company by transaction parties in Berkshire County in 2022 and 2023.
“It has been a joy meeting Andy a few years ago and then watching him and Sarah build the Berkshire Dream Home into what it is today. They have built a fantastic company and now have it become part of Lamacchia Realty A special honor for which I am extremely grateful,” Anthony Lamacchia, broker and owner of Lamachia Realty, said in a statement. “Andy, Sarah, and all of the agents and staff are great people, and I’m excited to have them with us and expand our company’s presence into the beautiful Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. I’m absolutely delighted Doubt, as long as we work together we will be stronger and provide better service to all our clients and real estate agents.
In addition to Perenicks, three employees and 22 brokers will join Lamacchia Realty through the acquisition. Lamacchia Realty said this brings the company’s number of agents to 660, up from 470 a year ago.
“I can’t imagine a better company for our office. Lamacchia’s focus on training and his implementation of systems that increase efficiency are second to none,” Sarah Perenik said in a statement. “Most importantly, however, Anthony’s focus on company culture and dedication to growing in a team atmosphere are consistent with what we have been working toward over the past few years.”
This marks Lamacchia Realty’s seventh acquisition in Massachusetts in the past 12 months. Those acquisitions include Easton-based Briarwood Real EstateAuburn Base Emerson real estate agentLocated in Springfield sears real estateFalmouth foley real estatebased in Fall River Real estate selection and Seekonk-based Keystone Real Estate Group.
Additionally, the company announced in late June that Massoud Atallah, formerly senior vice president of sales, development and M&A, was appointed anywhereWill join Lamacchia Realty as its senior vice president of business development.
