President Trump released a statement on The Truth Society on Saturday night.
“I want to thank the U.S. Secret Service and all law enforcement for their quick response to the recent shooting in Butler, Pennsylvania. Most importantly, I want to express my gratitude to the families of those who were killed at the rally and the family of the other person who was seriously injured. Condolences. It is unbelievable that such an act could occur in our country. Nothing is known about the shooter, who is now deceased. I was shot through the upper part of my right ear. .I knew immediately something was wrong because I heard a swishing sound, a gunshot, and immediately felt a lot of bleeding from the bullets, so I realized what was going on. Trump said on “Truth Society.”
