A GoFundMe fundraiser approved by Donald Trump raised nearly $300,000 overnight to support the victims and families of those injured and killed in the former president’s assassination attempt.
In addition to Trump being shot in the ear, one rally attendee was killed and two others seriously injured.
The fundraiser launched Saturday night and had raised $290,000 of its $1 million goal from more than 4,000 donors by 8 a.m. Sunday.

All donations will go directly to these proud Americans to help them grieve. and healing. May God bless and unite our nation.
Trump senior adviser Jason Miller shared a link to the fundraiser, which he wrote was “Trump-approved.”
