President Biden told the nation that he had always personally authorized Trump to have the highest level of security as a former president and Republican nominee.
In his speech on Sunday afternoon, President Biden said:
That’s what we’re going to do. First, Mr. Trump, as a former President and Republican nominee, has received an enhanced level of security, and my instructions to the Secret Service remain consistent to provide him with all necessary resources, capabilities, and protections to ensure his continued security. .
Second, I have directed the Secret Service Director to review all security measures for the Republican National Convention, which is scheduled to begin tomorrow. Third, at yesterday’s rally, I directed an independent review of national security to accurately assess what happened, and we will share the results of that independent review with the American people. Finally, I’ll talk about this in more detail tonight in the Oval Office. We must unite as one nation. We must unite as one nation.

Biden did not deny that Trump needed additional security. Donald Trump already has the highest level of security. The problem arises from some underlying communication issue between site selection and preservation. This has nothing to do with President Biden.
The Republican knee-jerk reaction is to make everything partisan and political, but that’s not Biden’s fault. The country should focus on those who normalize political violence, not Joe Biden.
