What is Prime Day?
Amazon Prime Day is a two-day sales event held every summer for Amazon Prime members. This year’s Prime Day will be July 16th and 17th. It’s like Black Friday in the summer, and subscribers will be able to get heavily discounted items throughout the week. Some items may not be on sale for long, so be sure to grab them before they sell out.
Is Prime Day the best time to buy a laptop?
While there are plenty of product deals available during Prime Day, there are very limited deals on laptops leading up to the event. We expect more deals to come as the date gets closer. Typically, stores like Best Buy offer extremely competitive prices during Prime Day. We also see Walmart doing the same thing. If you’re shopping for back-to-school, Prime Day is a great time to grab a laptop at a discount, but if you can hold out until fall, Black Friday often offers the lowest prices.
