Donald Trump just capped off the most epic moment in American history since Washington crossed the Delaware with another victory.
The classified documents case against Trump has been dismissed by Judge Cannon, who ruled that the appointment of special counsel Jack Smith was unconstitutional.
Confidential documents case dropped
Presiding Judge Cannon issued an order granting the motion to dismiss.
The dismissal reads: “Former President Trump’s motion to dismiss based on the unlawful appointment and funding of Special Counsel Jack Smith has been granted…
“The superseding indictment is dismissed because Special Counsel Smith’s appointment violated the Appointments Clause of the United States Constitution.”
Just two days ago, President Trump narrowly escaped assassination in Pennsylvania.
This is a development story.
