In court documents filed last week, official partner Co-founder Tal Alexander has denied accusations that he participated in the sexual assault of an acquaintance, Angelica Parker, who claimed in a lawsuit that Tal and his brother, Aaron Alexander, raped her while Aaron’s twin brother Oren Alexander looked on.
The document responds to 48 paragraphs of allegations in a lawsuit filed by Parker in June. Tal Alexander denies all passages related to the incidents alleged by Parker. The allegations to which he admitted were factual in nature and were not directly related to the alleged incident. As for other allegations not directly related to him, he claimed he did not have sufficient knowledge to determine whether they were true.
Parker filed a lawsuit against the three brothers last month new york county supreme court. The charges revolve around incidents in autumn 2012 when Parker and a friend visited the Alexander brothers’ Soho flat, where they were supplied with drugs and molested.
The friend became “very uncomfortable” and left the apartment, but did not leave the building out of concern for Parker. After she left, Parker claimed she was raped by Tal and Aaron while Oren watched.
Tal Alexander’s attorneys — Milton Williams and Deanna Paul of Walden Macht Haran & Williams — accused Parker in court documents of using “the court system to pursue trumped-up charges for financial gain.” They noted that Parker had previously sued boxer Oscar De La Hoya, accusing him of assault and false imprisonment, but a judge dismissed the suit in 2012, calling it “completely without merit.”
in a statement housing line, Parker’s attorney, Michael Willimen, said: “It appears that the defendants in this lawsuit have sought to disgrace our client because she has experienced more than one traumatic experience in her life. Trouble began for the Alexander brothers in June, when two women – Rebecca Mandel and Kate Whiteman – filed a lawsuit against Oren and Aron, accusing the twins of raping them in separate incidents . Tarr is not a defendant in either lawsuit.
Mandel claims that in 2010, she was lured back to Oren and Alon’s apartment, where she was drugged and raped. Whiteman claims that in 2012, she was dragged into a black SUV in the Hamptons and held against her will in a garage while the twins beat and raped her.
Willeming claimed that since Whiteman and Mandel filed their lawsuit, 30 women have come forward with rape accusations against two or three brothers.
Both lawsuits were filed under New York City’s Gender Motivated Violence Protection Act, which allows sexual assault survivors to sue regardless of when the assault occurred. The most high-profile case under the new law was E. Jean Carroll’s lawsuit against former President Donald Trump, who was found guilty. The window for filing lawsuits under the law will close in March 2025.
