Dr. Ben Carson, who served as Trump’s secretary of Housing and Urban Development during his first administration, spoke at the Republican National Convention on Tuesday night and received a standing ovation during his impassioned speech.
Much of Carson’s speech focused on the assassination attempt on Trump over the weekend. Carson quoted scripture and spoke of his personal reaction to the horrific events. It was a very reassuring moment.
Carson is such a gentle man of integrity. He is an inspiration.
From the vigilant fox on Twitter/X:
Dr. Ben Carson salutes Trump, earning a standing ovation
“I watched as my dear friend President Trump escaped death by mere inches. My thoughts immediately turned to the book of Isaiah, which says: “No weapon formed against you will succeed.” “
• “First, they tried to destroy his reputation, and he is now more popular than ever.
• “Then they tried to bankrupt him. And he has more money now than before.
• “Then they tried to put him in jail, but he became freer and made others free with him.”
• “Then last weekend, they tried to kill him. There he was, alive and well.
(standing ovation)

Carson should absolutely play a role in a second Trump administration. He is a decent and respectable man.
