‘Little Reindeer’ and ‘The Crown’ star shortlisted

The stars of “Baby Reindeer” and “The Crown” are both nominated for this year’s Emmy Awards.

scottish comedian Richard GardThe creator of the controversial Netflix series “Baby Reindeer” received three nominations for acting, writing and producing.

Jessica GunningShe and her co-star, who plays stalker Martha, were also nominated for acting awards navamau (Terry) and Tom Goodman-Hill (Darian).

There were 11 nominations for the series. The most nominated was “Shogun,” a samurai epic set in Japan, with 25 nods, while “Bear” set a record for a comedy show with 23 nods.

Imelda Staunton She is up for best actress in a drama series for her role as Elizabeth II in the final season of Netflix’s royal drama “The Crown.”

Jonathan Price (Prince Philip), Dominic West (Prince of Wales, Prince Charles), Elizabeth Debicki (Diana, Princess of Wales) and Leslie Manville (Princess Margaret) was also nominated.

and Claire Foy She played Queen Elizabeth II in the first two series and was nominated for best guest actress for her final scene when the queen returns to reflect on her life.

Olivia ColemanAnother former leading lady of “The Crown” is nominated for another role – chef Terry in the American restaurant drama “The Bear”.

“Bear” received a total of 10 acting nominations, including for its lead actor Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edbirias well as British guest actors Will Poulter.

Other British actors nominated include Idris Elba For hijacking, Gary Oldman and Jack Lowden For slow horses, Tom Holland For the feud, Jonathan Bailey To all my fellow travelers, Michaela Cole To Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Matt Berry what we do in the shadows, and Juneau Temple For Fargo.

The core cast of the murder mystery comedy “Only Murder in the Building” Steve Martin, Martin Short and selena gomez All running, side by side Meryl Streepwho joined for season three.

elsewhere, jennifer aniston and reese witherspoon will go head-to-head on The Morning Show, while jodie foster and Robert Downey Jr. is one of the other big names on the shortlist.

The Emmy Awards are the most prestigious honors in American television.

The winners will be announced on September 15th.
