Angelina Jolie wants ex-husband Brad Pitt to “end their fight over the former couple’s French winery.”
After Pitt sued Jolie in 2022, Jolie’s legal team was looking for more evidence to prove Pitt was wrong. This sale is “void”.
Most recently, Jolie asked Pitt to hand over third-party communications related to the 2016 plane crash. Jolie and Pitt allegedly got into a physical altercation on a plane, and Jolie filed for divorce shortly after.
Jolie’s attorney, Paul Murphy, told Fox News Digital: “Mr. Pitt controls all the property and businesses the couple share, yet he continues to demand more and is suing Angelina for more. $67 million in damages plus punitive damages. “In doing so, Pitt set out to speak out about why he sought to punish and control Angelina by demanding a newly expanded confidentiality agreement to cover up his personal misconduct and abuse. These actions are at the heart of these lawsuits. “

“We are not surprised that Mr. Pitt is afraid to turn over documents proving these facts,” the attorney continued. “While Angelina once again demands that Mr. Pitt end his fight and finally put their family on the road to recovery, unless Mr. Pitt withdraws his lawsuit, Angelina has no choice but to obtain the necessary evidence to prove his accusations.” Incorrect.
However, a source familiar with Pitt’s response to Jolie’s request told Fox News Digital that the winery lawsuit is a “direct business dispute.”
“This is a simple commercial dispute but unfortunately the other side continues to introduce personal elements that expose the weaknesses of their case and complicate and prolong the proceedings,” the source said.

Pitt objected to Jolie’s request for third-party communications related to the 2016 plane incident, and his response focused primarily on privacy concerns.
“Jolie cannot meet her burden and demonstrate that the relevance of the documents she seeks outweighs Pitt’s countervailing privacy interests – particularly given the public attention surrounding the parties and this case – or a viable alternative that serves the same interests. The plan could weaken Pitt’s protections.
The actor’s legal team claimed that Pitt presented “viable alternatives” instead of publicly presenting the evidence requested by Jolie.

The former couple bought a controlling stake in the company Miraval Castle In 2008, during their relationship, they both spent time at home. In 2021, Jolie attempted to sell her company Nouvel to Tenute Del Mondo, a subsidiary of the Stoli Group, effectively transferring her 50% ownership in Miraval. Pitt objected to the sale, claiming the move violated the contract between the pair.
Meanwhile, Jolie’s company claims that Pitt has been the mastermind of a “revenge campaign” aimed at “plundering” profitable business since she first filed for divorce in 2016.
According to court documents previously obtained by Fox News Digital, Nouvel accused Pitt of “hijacking” Chateau Miraval and “wasting” the company’s assets on unnecessary renovation projects, including spending $1 million on a swimming pool renovation.
