Last Saturday, July 13, 2024, while President Trump was speaking at a MAGA rally in Butler Township, Pennsylvania, several shots were fired at him. Trump was shot in the ear and stood up covered in blood but acted defiant, telling the gathered crowd “fight, fight, fight!
AP’s Evan Vucci quickly captured the moment in this stunning photo that has become iconic, recalling the Battle of Iwo Jima in April 1945 The flag is raised on Mount Suribachi during this period.
The photo was so powerful that left-wing media editors asked outlets to stop using it because it clearly helped Trump.
But from that moment on, after the Secret Service stormed off the stage, the information released was almost entirely crafted by the same federal law enforcement agencies whose actions, and possible active actions and omissions of inaction, put Trump in the opening position. The gunman shot him in the head.
Nearly all of the primary claims and information about the Trump Butler rally shooting come from anonymous federal law enforcement sources in the mainstream media, and many of these claims appear to be self-serving, distracting, and blatant lies.
Refuting these federal lies becomes difficult because their sources in media coverage are so scarce. The media often simply cites another media outlet’s original report, and then the occurrence of certain events gradually becomes accepted fact, even if their original source is unknown, and the veracity of those claims depends entirely on the original reporter’s belief in a particular event.
For such a high-profile story, reporters desperately searched for tips and clues that would provide more fodder to write about the subject, but there was little to offer the public. So when a federal source carries a tip of “deep context,” it becomes tempting, but reporters have no independent way to verify the tip’s accuracy. They must trust that federal authorities will not lie or mislead them.
One thing to say about the relationship between federal law enforcement and the media is that repetition of propaganda coming out of Washington can be seriously damaging. Often referred to as “Operation Mockingbird,” this alleged that government intelligence agencies used widespread and systematic manipulation of U.S. media to serve their interests.
In his 1977 Rolling Stone article “The CIA and the Press,” Carl Bernstein wrote that managers, publishers, and reporters from nearly all major media outlets may serve national intelligence agencies . That doesn’t mean that 47 years later, they still are, but it certainly indicates that federal intervention and regulation of the media is likely to persist and be a major priority. Biden scrutinizes industrial complex, as Missouri v. Biden The lawsuit shows that the White House wants the ability to control social media companies and believes it has the right to demand the removal of personal posts related to Hunter Biden, the new coronavirus, the Wuhan laboratory leak theory, voter fraud and other topics.
The motivation for lying about the incident is obvious. It either represents a series of incredible security failures that happened to come together in just the right way for a lone gunman to fire off a few shots, or it represents America’s further slide into a banana republic with a president and allied elite trying to kill them all political opponents. Both are powerful reasons for federal law enforcement to spin, deflect, evade, and suppress when dealing with the media.
But the alternative excuses are criminal negligence or criminal murder.
Here are some of the more prominent claims made by the mainstream media, originating exclusively from federal law enforcement.
It is also worth noting that local law enforcement refers all investigations at the official and unofficial levels to the Pennsylvania State Police. State police refer all formal and informal investigations to the FBI. The FBI said it had no information to share at this time. Therefore, the way the mainstream media gets these facts is through unofficial, unsanctioned leaks. The mainstream media has few ways to verify the information presented, and their articles indicate that they do not doubt or criticize the information at all.
claim: Thomas Crooks is the shooter
Anonymous federal sources tell us the identification of the body was made difficult because it lacked any physical identification, such as a driver’s license or any other form of identification. But federal authorities told the New York Post on the day of the shooting that the killer was Thomas Crooks. It comes from “source”.
claim: Thomas Crooks identified through DNA test
At 1:38 a.m., just over seven hours after Trump was shot, USA Today reported that Crooks’ body had been identified through DNA. Dr. Mollie James told Gateway Pundit that DNA identification is usually not possible that quickly. USA Today cited an FBI press release to confirm the authenticity of the information.
It has never been explained how federal authorities immediately obtained a copy of Crooks’ DNA for comparison.
claim: Scammers use five-foot ladder to enter AGR building
On Monday, CNN reported that Crooks purchased a five-foot ladder from his hometown Home Depot. However, the ladder did not appear in any photos or drone footage from the day of the event. We wrote a synopsis of how the ladder narrative of how Crooks entered the AGR Building evolved, and how the various federal lies about rooftop access changed. An unnamed federal informant also told the New York Post that a Home Depot receipt was found in his pocket.
claim: Scammers enter AGR building by climbing on air conditioner
Fox News reported that Crooks climbed onto the air conditioner and entered the AGR building. The exterior of the AGR building has multiple entrances and exits. Fox’s article cited a “report” but did not explain what it was. Video security footage from the AGR building was not cited, nor was available drone footage, which was simply a report of Crooks using air conditioning to gain entry. If that was the case, then why did he buy a five-foot ladder? If he climbed on top of the air conditioner, surely he would have left footprints on the air conditioner, or maybe he had left a five-foot ladder near the air conditioner? None of these things are provided, they are all quoted in the report. The apparent inconsistency with Home Depot’s five-foot ladder was never explained.
claim: Butler County deputy confronts crook seconds before shooting
The following is a report from ABC News on Monday, July 15, 2024 Crooks was confronted by an unnamed police officer seconds before he fired his weapon. “Law enforcement told ABC News that a local police officer confronted the gunman on the roof of the building, who then opened fire on former President Donald Trump.” The official has not been named, and so far, Still hasn’t been revealed. Nearby witnesses were not questioned about this fact. There is no photographic or video evidence to support this claim. This statement only exists because law enforcement sources told ABC News it’s true. CBS has the same report, but the source is local Sheriff Michael Slupe, who has now turned all investigations over to the FBI.
The New York Post has declared the unnamed police officer a hero for yelling at Crooks and falling off a ladder. Or maybe it’s the air conditioning.
claim: The sniper was in the AGR building, which is where the crook shot.
The American Glass Research Center is located at 615 Whitestown Road, Butler Township, Pennsylvania, and has multiple buildings. It can understandably be confusing for an individual to determine which one is being discussed.
Initially, it was not known that the sniper was in the second-floor building overlooking the Trump rally. Crooks’ body is said to be on top of the building on the far right in the photo above. The snipers were not interviewed and details of what they saw that day were not revealed or that they were in view of Thomas Crooks the entire time he lay on the roof.
A sniper overlooking the body of Thomas Crooks could easily get to the rooftop and stop Crooks from shooting.
For more than thirty minutes, members of the public yelled from the ground below that there were snipers on the roof, who apparently failed to notice that active shooters were already in position within 20 feet of the multiple windows they saw.
claim: Local law enforcement is responsible for the “perimeter” including the AGR building
When the Secret Service was criticized for not protecting the most visible buildings from sniper fire, they said it was beyond the scope of their duties. They deflected and blamed local law enforcement, represented by Butler County Sheriff Michael Sloop. Chief Slupe noted that his deputy allegedly accosted Thomas Crooks seconds before he began shooting President Trump.
The Washington Post acknowledged that local law enforcement told the Secret Service they were unable to protect or maintain security at the AGR building, contradicting the Secret Service’s statement placing the blame on Sergeant Slupe.
The entire back-and-forth over who was responsible for rally security hinged on the law enforcement officials involved disclosing the nature of how they defended Trump and revealing their plans of action. They should not be trusted to disclose their failures thoroughly and honestly, nor should they be able to credibly make such claims without independent verification of security arrangements, as this could lead to another security failure elsewhere.
The only difference between reading an FBI press release and reading the mainstream media is that the press release quotes have a name.
If you trust the FBI, if you trust their honesty and integrity, then you can get all the relevant information you need on this story in the mainstream media, and this is an open and shut case.
