TikTok and DistroKid have expanded their existing alliance, announcing a new partnership to “quickly” create official TikTok artist accounts for DistroKid members.

The partnership between DistroKid and TikTok dates back to 2019, when DistroKid became the first publisher to facilitate independent artists’ music uploads to TikTok. The music library provides brands with a curated selection of pre-approved music for use in TikTok ads.
