If your child has seen Logan and/or the first two Deadpool movies, you might think this team-up movie would have nothing to shock them. But when Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman resurrected the Marvel Universe through brute force and star power, they delivered some truly jarring on-screen carnage.
For example, early in the film Wade Wilson (Reynolds) desecrates an iconic grave and uses its contents as weapons to engage in a bloody melee with some TVA soldiers. Even more graphic, though, is a later scene in which another (arguably less popular) hero is skinned alive.
It’s worth noting that both scenes have a comedic tone, so maybe that will soften the blow for kids.

Drug reference, yes. adequate! Medication? rare.
Blind Al (Leslie Uggams) is back and her drug of choice (cocaine) is once again the source of many jokes. You can end of trailer. But the only drugs used on screen were Wolverine (Jackman) drinking Jim Beam and, in a pinch, rubbing alcohol.
Is there any sexual suggestion in Deadpool and Wolverine?

Yes. There’s nothing more raunchy than a festival-themed sex position montage dead Pool. But there are plenty of references to the mercenary with the mound and his various states of arousal, including his statement in battle, “I’m soaked right now.”
Beyond that, there are some close-ups of Deadpool’s red-clad crotch in some suit montages, with the tailor’s hands running over the area. Deadpool jokes that this guy is a “predator.” But what might make curious kids ask you an awkward question is that when Deadpool uses the phrase “Whiskey Dick,” the drunken Wolverine’s claws don’t grow quite as long as we’re used to.
How terrible Deadpool and Wolverine?
Cassandra Nova’s fingers are nightmare fuel.

The violence in the picture is often balanced with crazy humor, and its impact is lessened by the simple fact that both heroes have the ability to heal quickly. But the character of Cassandra Nova (Emma Corrin) takes the MCU WTF to the next level. Cassandra is Charles Xavier’s evil twin, she possesses all of Charles’ telepathic abilities without his pesky conscience stopping her. Plus, her spin on the probing mind is even more disturbing because she actually puts her hands in it. Literally.
We’ve seen Deadpool jump around with broken bones, regrow baby legs, and blow himself to smithereens. But nothing in the Deadpool movie can prepare you (or the kids) for Cassandra digging her long fingers into a human skull like it was Play-Doh. She grabs Mr. Paradox’s (Matthew Macfadyen) face like he’s a rotten piece of fruit that she plans to drag across town, likely to bring about nightmares.
How many curses are there? Deadpool and Wolverine?
