Pennsylvania’s enthusiasm for Kamala Harris has reportedly spread to rural and red areas of the state.
Auditor General Rep. and Democratic candidate Malcolm Kenyatta wrote:
Yesterday I met a woman in Clinton County who pulled me in and whispered:
“This is my first Democratic picnic. I saw you on TV and know I talked to Joe and Kamala.
If Joe can stand up, I can stand up. Please tell them thank you.I didn’t cry – you did!

It’s important to understand that with Pennsylvania’s presidential election margin so close, Democrats are campaigning in the state’s rural red areas not to unseat them but to improve the party’s margins by engaging Democrats in rural red areas. Total votes.
Joe Biden won Pennsylvania in 2020 in large part because of strong Democratic turnout in rural red areas, which dampened Trump’s surge in rural areas where he was most popular. Biden was able to deny Trump’s growth in rural Pennsylvania, allowing him to win the state on the back of turnout in Pennsylvania’s blue areas.
Trump has no other base of voters in the state. He must boost support among rural Republican voters. If Rep. Kenyatta’s account is accurate, and others on the trip agree with him, Donald Trump’s problems in Pennsylvania may be getting worse.
