A majority of Americans, including a large number of Democrats, now view Biden’s deteriorating mental health as a national security threat, according to a new Rasmussen Reports poll.
Biden’s address to the nation this week did little to ease concerns. Biden seemed to be in a bad state of mind and not even fully engaged.
That’s why people have been calling for him to quit not just the campaign, but the presidency.
The Washington Examiner reports:
Majorities, including 39% of Democrats, worry that Biden poses a “threat” to U.S. security
A new poll shows President Joe Biden’s perceived mental decline is quickly turning into a threat to national security, a finding expected to intensify efforts to oust him from the White House before his term ends on January 20.
Biden abruptly announced over the weekend that he was withdrawing from the 2024 re-election bid after a disastrous first debate defeat against Republican challenger Donald Trump and the media beginning to highlight his missteps and self-talk on the campaign trail.
Some considered Biden “old” and began urging him to step down immediately. But he argued there were other reasons for his poor appearance, such as jet lag, COVID-19 and lack of sleep…
In the latest Rasmussen Reports survey shared with Secrets, 61% said Biden’s “mental decline” poses a threat to national security. Notably, 39% of Democrats and 62% of independents agreed with this view in a poll conducted with the Heartland Institute before Biden dropped out of the reelection race.
It’s almost impossible to disagree.

Of course, the downside of Biden resigning as president is that Kamala will take his place.
